Mineral Resources On-Line Spatial Data

MRDS provides information on more than 300,000 sites. That is a lot of information for Google Earth to display, and it may not work on your system. We recommend instead that you select a specific geographic area and download the data for that specific area rather than do it all at once.

Recommended procedure:

• Select data for a specific geographic area

Risky procedure:

• Download the Google Earth KML file (7.4 Mb KMZ expands to 135 Mb)
