DISCREDITING OF THE SOUTH DIXON, USA, STONY METEORITE Name: SOUTH DIXON Place of find: Near the town of Dixon, Lee County, Illinois, USA. Comments: B.H. Wilson (The Mineralogist, 1947, 15, 63), described, with a partial analysis, a grey chondrite found near the town of Dixon in western Illinois.
